Contempo Closet Expands to Include Bedroom Furniture

Contempo Closet expands its line of freestanding wardrobe closets to
include platform beds and nightstands.

Passaic, N.J. August 5, 2011 - Contempo Closet started off specializing in creating and manufacturing free standing wardrobe closets. Recently, they added bedroom furniture including a line of platform beds, nightstands and chests of drawers. Platform beds come in a variety of sizes and are available with or without storage. Like the rest of the Contempo Closet line, these items can be customized in a variety of case colors and finishes to match the surrounding décor and/or the rest of the furniture in the room.

When asked what the motivation for the expansion, design consultant Gary Flax explained, “When someone is looking for furniture, they are usually looking to furnish a room. A freestanding wardrobe is a great start, but there are other pieces that are needed to complete the project. We wanted to streamline the process for our customers leaving them with a fully furnished room with complimentary pieces.” Contempo Closet designers noticed that coordinating bedroom sets frequently do not include bigger storage units like a wardrobe closet; This leaves the shopper to find the next best match—a match that is very rarely exact. Therefore, the solution is to offer a series of pieces that can be made to match.

In addition, by adding bedroom furnishing including smaller pieces, the company hopes to expand their appeal to consumers who have built in closets but need additional storage that can be customized.

Contempo Closet supplies “The Instant Wardrobe.” Contempo Closet, a furniture company based in New Jersey, specializes in customizable wardrobe closets for quick and efficient storage solutions. Design consultants and craftsmen work with customers to create freestanding wardrobe closets from modular units that best meet the customer’s storage needs.
